You could live your whole life exercising, eating the healthiest of foods, staying away from cigarettes, alcohol, environmental pollutants and still get cancer or other deadly conditions from the products you put ON your body. Crazy isn't it! What makes this a serious problem is that it is hardly ever discussed in the media like most other health threats.

I did a Bantu Knot out this weekend and I can not say enough good things about this style and how well it turned out for me. If you're interested in seeing my pics of the process, how I did them, and what I used please feel free to visit my Natural Hair Journey blog post. I honestly don't know why I waited so long to attempt this hairstyle.

I came across a new website that specializes in natural hair care products... www.shescentit.com and wanted to know if any of you ladies have ever used these products. The site currently has a cyber special offering 25% off your purchase and I thought it would be the perfect time for me to try out a few products.

There have been heated debates about whether women of color (specifically black women) should even consider this chart. My thinking is that you should just love your hair no matter what the texture, but if this chart helps you figure out how to style it, use the chart.
By the way I think I'm a coily/kinky, and I love it!
